It was absolutely terrible! Ac didn't work and then fill carpet full of water. Staff refused to move rooms unless u wanted a smoking room.

Clean rooms, hard bed

Room was clean , bathroom was clean, ac worked great. Personally for me the bed was rock hard and there were no extra blankets to be found. If we hadn’t gotten back from our event at midnight I would have called to ask for an extra blanket.

No housekeeping for 5 days stay

Breakfast spread was impressive. Better than most. We were there for 5 days and housekeeping never came in. Hotels will often do every third day, but we got nothing, no new towels or trash removal. I had to empty the trash several times myself. Yes, I could have requested new towels, but should not have to.

We had bugs in our bathroom, they came out of the rotten baseboards in the bathroom. I noticed them at night when I turn on the light, they were crawling on the floor. It was bad.

Waxahachie Stay

The check in/out was a breeze. The staff was very accommodating, friendly and professional. The room was very comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were nice. My only problem was the carpet was gross and i kept my flip flops on at all times walking around the room. The shower control was a little wobbly, but otherwise, all was just fine. The breakfast was really nice too. Hot and fresh. Eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravey plus the waffle and cereal choices. I would stay there again.

First the staff is outstanding—from front desk-breakfast staff—maids. The facility is in terrible need of remodeling and repairs. The air conditioner has a filter that is torn and filthy. My wife was congested the whole time we were there. The show did not drain out- not sloped to drain. Looks like dog chewed up the bathroom wall paper and door. Room 314. Would not stay there again.

okay for no frills and need of a remodel/refresh

a solid 3/5… meaning, if you need a safe place to stay, don’t need any frills, free breakfast and can tolerate a lot of wear and tear in the bathroom and furniture, then it’s worth every dollar.
