Room was clean except the bathtub which clearly had not been cleaned between guests in a while. The furnishings were pretty old. Most of the staff was great except one who was high or drunk or at least hungover and set up breakfast 2.5 hrs late and so poorly one didn't actually want to try anything that wasn't in an individual wrapper. The mattresses were fine but the pillows were hard. Although probably the most expensive hotel/motel in the area, it was almost half the cost of hotels 40 min away and was a lot more convenient location which was critical for my trip for a family emergency.

1) Lady at checkin was not freindly, might say rude. 2) No elevator was on second floor with steps hard for elderly and luggage. 3) Roon 206 ceiling had rain leak damage. 4) Something gross stuck on window. 5) trash bag over smoke detector. 6) TV would not start called for assistance and lady rude again at front desk. 7) Pool was out og use some PH issue? 8) Trash on right side of bed we pickedup and threw away. 9) Beds were so hard like sleeping on boards. 10) Breakfast biscuits were dry and couple day old. 11) Strawberry jelly was Orange and smelled sour vinegar. Was not happy at all and would not recommend.

Property has potential but many repairs are needed. Dressers covered damages parts with plywood. Wood trim very beat up. Breakfast time could use eggs fresh cinnamon rolls. Shower curtain bar loose. Never ablle to a a key card as they had computer issues for at least 3 days during our stay. Breakfast staff person in prep area with terrible loud coughing spell. No tissues in room. Pool closed indefinitely. Shower gel provided was empty

The best thing about the stay was Rosa, I believe she is the manager. She was awesome despite having staff that was subpar. The first room given was gross but she was quick to try to fix it. She gave us a new room. When staff didn't show up to make breakfast she, despite working until midnight, quickly made breakfast. From what I was told the housekeeping staff didn't come in either. The lobby was clean and so were the halls. The grounds around the hotel were decent. It is fairly conveniently located around restaurants and if you need basics

The bathroom was clean. The lamp shades were filthy to the point of being almost gross. The bedside table had something sticky on it. The bed was comfortable. The towels were soft. The pillows were hard as a rock. Some of the furniture was very stained but the microwave was brand new.This area is very limited in hotel availability. Overall it had some nice points but needs a little more care.

The attendant at the front desk was quite rude when I arrived at 1:30 and kindly asked if I could check in. She simply stated for $50. I said really even if my room is ready? She said "For $50" She could have easily stated it in a more customer service friendly fashion by saying. "I'm sorry but the hotel policy required me to charge an extra $50 for any early check ins." I was instantly soured by her attitude. Later after I checked in, this same clerk was training a new desk clerk and had (3) guests waiting at the front desk to check in. I walked by and overheard her reprimanding this new person about having a drink behind the counter and ordered her to dump it out. This could have easily waited until there were no guests present. It was really unprofessional and down right stupid. The clerk she was training check me in earlier and was kind and professional. She had no trouble taking care of my needs and even tried to assist carrying my luggage upstairs once we realized there was no elevator present. The room itself must not have been occupied for quite some time as there was a ring of dirt on the inside of the toilet. The bed had a long dark hair in it and I'm not sure if the sheets were never changed or the hair belonged to the maid service. Other than these things, the hotel was fine. The pool was very clean and the breakfast decent. Not really much hot to eat but waffles and the same biscuits and gravy were served both Saturday and Sunday.

Nice place to stay

Very convenient location, close to restaurants and highway. Very large lobby with lots of seating. Was welcomed by a friendly attendant and quickly checked in. Room was very nice & clean.

It wasn’t one major thing, it was a lot of little things. Partial construction project on shower in room, view from room is a weedy overgrown field, bathroom floor had a slippery film on it. Check in employee at desk looked a bit sketchy and breakfast was nothing special. No coffee!

The hotel itself looks nice and quaint, but cleanliness is an issue. The couch in our suite has crumbs all over it and then when we opened the pull-out couch for our kids to sleep on, there was food/crumbs/popcorn all in it. We asked for linens for the pull-out couch because none could be found in the room and the linens were very old and worn looking that we got with some stains as well. We also asked for a cot and it took them hours to bring it. Additionally, because we got a suite, we had two rooms but the room with the pull-out couch (living room area) by the door was so unbearably hot, our kids couldn't even sleep in there. We had to move the cot into our bedroom near the AC unit and our other kiddo chose to sleep in a chair in our room to be closer to the AC. There is a temperature control device in that living room area but it seems to be completely useless. We told the front desk about this and asked how to get it working and they were not able to help, only stating that the "wedding party" that were in the suite last time didn't have any complaints. Also my husband went to turn on one lamp and said there were cobwebs all over the bulb. This could be a cute hotel but the issues we had made this a more stressful stay than it should have been.
