Staff was nice. Room was mostly clean. Some dust here and there. I found the lack of an elevator was very inconvenient. The hot tub was under maintenance one day, but I received a text message from the hotel saying as much. That was appreciated. Overall it was a good experience.

When I filled out my reservation request online, I did a special request form. I mentioned that I had a small dog. I also asked for a first floor room. When I check in, I was told that my request didn't come through. I'm sure it did, because I received a reply email that said they received my dog room request. It said that they were adding two dogs to my billing. I had replied back that it was only One dog. I've stayed at this hotel many times. Most of the dog rooms are on the first floor. The hotel wasn't filled up. I'm sure that they just didn't have the first floor rooms cleaned. There's no elevator, so I had to do stairs. Which are hard for me. We also had to carry the dog up and down, as she is an older dog.

I had the first floor room next to the exit door at the south end. The closer needs to be adjusted because it slammed shut very loudly through night to smoke outside. It woke me up frequently. It was aggravating.
