If your looking for a nice-sized, clean, comfortable room, with friendly staff, at a reasonable price, this is your hotel. It's old-style, and not posh, but nice.

This was a great little roadside motel just north of Watkins Glen. Staff was friendly. Older property but that’s what made it fun. Pulled up right to the room door (had actual keys). The interior of the room could be updated some but it was totally fine for one night. Breakfast is basic grab-n-go baked goods. I would stay there again without a doubt.

The surface was clean BUT the carpeting was filthy. There was no screen on back window preventing getting a cross breath to alleviate the very musty spell when first entering room. Had 4 pillows - 2 were filthy. Had there been pillow covers, not just pillow cases, that could be changed there may not have been that issue. The water control in bathroom and shower need fixing/updating.No plug for tub so can’t use as a tub. Curtains dirty and falling off tract. At least shower curtain was clean and towels were very plush. Towels were replaced and bed made daily. The filter on the air conditioner, the controls, and freezer were dirty. Continental bfst. was store bought powdered donuts or a muffin with coffee. Really !!!

Close to town but quiet and relaxing. Pool, gazebo and some rockers outside your door for enjoying. Danish type things and coffee are only options. Fine for us. Beds were great.

Definitely was a 2-3 star facility. Had cracked plaster/paint on the walls, toilet seat was broken in my room, AC unit couldn't keep the room below 70 on a hot (above 80° day). Had a HD/HDMI tv but no HDMI cord, had to buy one at Walmart to hook my laptop to the TV for movies. Thought the place was a bix expensive for the condition of it...guess your paying for the 15 minutes to Watkins Glen International

Very nice place, only issu was the "breakfast included". The breakfast they provide was hostess sinle wrapped danishes, muffin and mini donuts. No fruit, bagel, eggs, toast, nothing but the pre packaged sugary treats. Orher than that, was a very nice, spacious room.
