The rooms were lovely, very clean and comfortable, and the staff were very helpful. Great location for access to the railway station. The only downside was that check-in was at 2, but one of our rooms wasn't ready until 2.45, so we had to wait around for a while.

We paid for the room with no breakfast. The next morning we changed our minds and paid £33.50 for two breakfasts. Unfortunately the breakfast was not nice food. The sausages and bacon were very undercooked. I asked one of the team members for the sausages and bacon i had out on a separate plate to be cooked more. After waiting 20 minutes they came back exactly the same. I was told the kitchen is busy but if i wanted he could go back to the kitchen with the same food and ask the chef again? I did explain we were already late and i cant wait another 20 minutes for this and I'm not happy that i have to pay £16.50 for beans on toast! The ‘manager’ of the restaurant said there is nothing more he is going to do! I asked for his name to which he replied ‘My name is BEN, B-E-N’ and said it very slowly and loudly which now caught the attention of other guests eating their breakfast. I said no problem. I then went to reception and spoke with the lady there who was very polite and friendly but again nothing more was done. I explained i will be taking this further. She offered me free breakfast the next time i stay there. To be quite honest i am quite insulted that i have been offered a breakfast in the same place where the chef is unable to cook a sausage and the manager B-E-N has as much customer service skills as a toilet pan! The room was satisfactory but i strongly recommend you stay far away as possible from Ben and his bad attitude and the inept chef at the ‘resturant’

Not your average Holiday inn. Great lobby and dining area with multiple different seating areas for business travelers and families alike. Thoughtful amenities (workstations, oulets, bar, coffee station). Nice breakfast buffet with many choices. Clean and spacious rooms with well thought out functional details.
