Aware it's a historic and iconic hotel, it is too dated. It is like traveling back in time. Rugs and furniture need to be refreshed. Location is unbeatable when in town for business, and staff was superb. Restaurant was great too.

It’s very clean, regal, and fits the DC “vibe” in a unique way. I love that it’s a Marriott without feeling like one (in a good way.) They don’t offer room service which is kind of inconvenient, but they do have a to-go option when their restaurant is open. Check-in staff were personable and very accommodating. Extremely close to a metro entrance which makes a huge difference!

It was great to relax at the bar and have a bite to eat after a full day of sight seeing. Cabs were always available to take us where we needed to go and the staff was excellent
