There was some sort of Gala at the NAHB next door that created lots of noise from 10PM-3AM on Friday night. Totally disrupted our sleep. Rooms was very clean but stripped down. No fridge. No desk. Bed and pillows super comfortable.

Overall Le Meridian delivered on what you should feel as first time visitor in Washington DC. The hotel was right smack in the center of the Washington universe.Location was superb and the surrounding felt safe. There were few bumps along the way such as no refrigerator in the room for us insulin dependent traveler and a lack of view .

Clean and basic, beds comfortable but walls are thin so you can hear neighbors easily. No amenities in the room like a coffee maker- even a Comfort inn has those. Nice convenient area. The 30$ a day charge is really annoying - they charge you for things you probably don’t want- tour tickets and bikes- but then offer a 15$ daily “refund” on hotel food or drinks- so you have to spend 15$ on overpriced yogurts and muffins or the breakfast buffet. Stop charging people for things they don’t want- that is more annoying than just increasing the price!

I enjoyed by stay at Le Meridien very, very much. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of great choices. Your front desk staff was terrific. Terrance was exceptional. From check in to my last day, he was always cheerful, pleasant, professional, and resourceful. I only wish the rooms had microwaves and mini fridges. It would also be nice if there was ice available on more floors. Otherwise, the stay was wonderful. I would definitely return to Le Meridien in the future and recommend it to others!
