We chose this place for location near the train station. The room was clean but is more of a “motel 6” vibe and comfortable level. Mattress was fine but bedding was uncomfortable. No staff just self check in and out. We were riding the Katy Trail and there was outdoor bike racks that were convenient. Area and restaurants next to the train station were fun.

Our room was clean and comfortable. We loved the location of the property to the downtown area. We stayed here during Washington’s Art and Wine Fest which was all within walking distance. There is a steep hill coming up to the property but there is a public parking lot just below on Front street so you can drive down and park there if you want to walk around town and then drive up the hill upon your return to Elijah’s. The onsite bar/lounge was very nice. Quaint and inviting. We enjoyed sitting outside in the morning with our coffee. The parking was convenient. Our room was upstairs, which was not an issue for us. But if you have any mobility issues, you might want to request a ground floor room as there is no elevator.
