The good stuff: 1. Friendly staff, 2. Clean, 3. Understanding staff, 4. Great price, 5. Awesome view. The not so great stuff: ridiculous parking rates, accessibility to public transport. Why we won’t be booking again: the different setup as opposed to a normal hotel was really difficult for my senior parents to grasp and left them very stressed. Calling the support number provided don’t help since the mailbox was full. The doors do not seem secure; they don’t lock automatically.

I genuinely enjoyed the room and view but the service, top notch. I needed an iron, brand new one provided. I needed suggestions for parking, multiple given. The staff were funny and I enjoyed talking to the ladies and young man in the office. I stayed in 623 and would have no problem coming back for ANOTHER great visit.

The apartment was wonderful - clean and bright, woth everything you need to cook a few meals in the kitchen. The staff were very friendly and easy to contact via text, which i appreciated. Wi have to warn about the on site parking - its very expensive and run by a 3rd party who isnot helpful or friendly. I suggest parking in the lot across the street for ease and cost. We plan to return in the spring for a Nationals game and look forward to our stay!

I would stay at Placemakr at Buzzard Point again—hands down. The ambience was amazing, and the security throughout the entire area made me feel very comfortable. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly kind and welcoming, and Samantha was especially accommodating and helpful during my stay. My studio was super clean and aesthetically pleasing, which made it feel comfortable and relaxing from the moment I arrived. I truly believe I had one of the best views of the city, which made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back again soon. If you’re hesitant about staying here, don’t be—this is a really great spot and hidden gem.

Room was nicely updated and clean but location was not what I was looking for. I didn’t realize this was not a hotel and more of an apartment where there wasn’t any amenities other than a work out room. Room was empty and I couldn’t find anywhere close to even get a bottle of water. Once again could have been better but the room was nice.
