I booked this hotel for my wife as a birthday staycation so she could relax and take a break from her daily responsibilities. The staff, spa, and accommodations were truly wonderful and exceeded our expectations. Unfortunately, her experience was overshadowed by a fire alarm that went off in the middle of the night and continued for what felt like nearly an hour before it was resolved. The disruption really impacted what was meant to be a peaceful and restorative getaway.

I’ve never stayed at a 5 star hotel that charged you for shampoo, soap, or body wash. Considering the price of the hotel I would never expect to see a notice saying we would be charged for taking shampoo. It gives the impression that the hotel is nickel and diming guests. In addition, the idea of reusing stuff from other guests is also gross. The hotel also didn’t provide toothbrushes, combs, or basic toiletries that other 5 star hotels provide. Lastly to add onto the nickle and diming, never in my life have a stayed at a 5 star hotel that charges for sauna and steam room use. Either include that service in the base price or put a notice saying that a charge is required.

I had a wonderful stay at the Pendry. I had my puppy with me, and no stone was left unturned for my fur baby. At check-in I received a bag of treats for her, and was offered a dog bed and food bowl for the room. The birthday decorations in my room upon arrival were the best. And I cannot say enough good things about Moonraker's breakfast and drink
