It was an okay stay nothing particularly special. We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary and had shared that information with the lodge ahead of time, but unfortunately it didn’t seem to be communicated, as we were asked again during check-in. The room was clean, though smaller than we expected. On a positive note, guest services provided great customer service, which we appreciated. The rooftop restaurant, Moon River, was a nice highlight of the stay. Overall, it was a good hotel experience, but there’s definitely room for better attention to special occasions.

Beautiful property, with spa, gym, and seasonal outdoor pool. Rooftop Japanese fusion bar/restaurant and lobby bar with afternoon tea service and cafe. Didn’t get a chance to try 2nd floor breakfast but it was in a nice airy space. Room service is the same high quality as the food in the lobby. Would definitely stay again!

We were celebrating two birthdays ! We started with the best massage in the world at the Spa, checked in, enjoyed our lovely room and awesome bathroom with signature products that were yummy, then dined at Moonraker on the penthouse floor. We had delicious Japanese small plates and sushi rolls and signature cocktails then wrapped in blankets to sit outside by the fire and gaze at the DC lights. Totally fabulous experience !!!!!
