It is simply the best hotel / property in D.C. New,Clean, Nicely Decorated Rooms. Brand New Coffee Machines instead of stupid Keurig! Balcony is a great option as you wish to get clean and fresh air.

We really wanted to enjoyed our stay at Hotel AKA Washington Circle. Check-in was smooth, and I really appreciated that they accommodated an early arrival. The room was very clean, well-kept, and matched the online photos. The balcony was a nice touch. The also offer a free washer/dryer which was great - they did provide a free box of Tide (travel size). Perfect for not wanting to take dirty clothes home. Transit transit transit was phenomenal! It’s close, easy and super convenient. But the in-room bar prices were out-damn-rageous. And the real dealbreaker was the noise: I could hear everything through the adjoining door — conversations, bathroom sounds, toilet flushes — like we were all in the same room. On top of that, the cleaning staff in the hallway sounded like they were standing in my room, and constant ambulance sirens made it worse. So while the hotel nailed cleanliness and service, the noise kept it from being restful. If you’re sensitive to sound, this may not be the best choice.

The staff was great. We needed to check in early which they accommodated, though at the steep price of $200. The room was nice. I wish the showers had a little more power. They are very pet friendly, more so than at any hotel I’ve ever stay. The metro is a quick 5 min walk away and there are plenty of store and restaurants around. Best of all…no national guard ruining your view if such a beautiful city. This will def be my new go-to for stays in DC.

Perfect for families

I love the AKA brand and this one did not disappoint! From the quality of the room to the service, I very much enjoyed my experience. I can’t wait to come back. I traveled with my husband and infant. This was the perfect stay for a family. They provided us with an excellent pack and play and brand new sheets for the baby mattress. Fresh out the package. I can’t say enough about the stay!

Super staff and rooms. The only issue is the loud AC noise, which becomes very disturbing when it stops and starts with a loud thud at night. I will recommend this, particularly the suites are very comfortable.
