The apartment features a well-equipped kitchenette with a mini-fridge, toaster oven, microwave, induction cooktop, and Keurig coffee maker. A dining table for two also doubles as a laptop-friendly workspace, making the apartment a great option for remote work or longer stays.
Stay connected with high-speed WiFi, cable with HD channels, and a Smart TV with wired internet for fast, reliable streaming. Two closets and a full-size dresser provide plenty of storage, while the in-unit full-size washer and dryer add convenience for guests staying for several weeks or more.
With its private setting, practical amenities, and dedicated workspace, this apartment is particularly well suited to extended and month-long stays. If you're interested in staying longer, simply reach out with your dates and we'd be happy to discuss availability.
Guest Access:
Guests have a secure, private entrance to the apartment, accessed via a well-lit stone pathway along the side of the main residence to the rear of the property. There are approximately 5–6 steps leading to the apartment entrance.
Guests have exclusive access to the studio apartment, with no access to the remainder of the main residence.
The pathway has a natural stone/cobblestone surface, so guests traveling with rolling luggage may find it a little easier to carry their bags along the path. If you have any mobility concerns, please feel free to reach out before booking and we’ll be happy to answer any questions about the access.
For the comfort of the household, we kindly ask that guests check in before 9 PM.
The main home’s kitchen and family room are located directly above the apartment, so some everyday household sounds may occasionally be heard. We simply ask that everyone remains mindful of noise so both spaces can be enjoyed comfortably.
The Neighborhood:
Cleveland Park offers the best of both worlds—a peaceful, leafy residential setting with a lively commercial area just moments away.
The apartment is less than a block from Connecticut Avenue, where you’ll find a great selection of restaurants, cafés, grocery stores, local shops, and a gym. The National Zoo is also just a couple of blocks away, while Rock Creek Park and its beautiful walking trails are close by.
Whether you’re looking to explore the outdoors, enjoy the local dining scene, or have everyday conveniences close at hand, Cleveland Park makes it easy to enjoy the best of both.
Getting Around:
A car isn’t necessary during your stay. The Cleveland Park Metro Station is just three blocks away, providing easy access to downtown DC and attractions throughout the city via the Red Line.
Multiple bus routes also run along nearby Connecticut Avenue, while Uber and Lyft are readily available for convenient trips around Washington, DC.
Other Things to Note:
Longer stays are especially welcome. The apartment is a great fit for guests looking for a comfortable home base for several weeks or longer, with the amenities and conveniences to make an extended stay feel easy and comfortable. We also welcome shorter stays, subject to availability. If you’re interested in staying for a month or longer, simply send us your dates and we’ll be happy to discuss availability and options.
For stays approaching 91 days, please note that Washington, DC applies a 14.95% occupancy tax to stays under 91 days. Depending on your dates, a stay of 91 days or longer may be more economical. Please reach out if you’d like to discuss your options. As the apartment is located below the main residence, some everyday household sounds may travel between the two levels. We simply ask that guests and residents remain considerate of one another so everyone can enjoy their space comfortably.
Interaction with Guests:
We’re always happy to help and are available throughout your stay should you have any questions or need assistance. We’re just a message away and will do our best to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
