Besid s the rooms being extremely small, without any place to hang your clothes, the commode right next to a glass door, which was a yard from the bed, a nightstand on only one side of the bed, and space so tight that opening a suitcase was impossible, THERE WAS NO HOT WATER!!!! (as well as no coffee and no Breakfadt sandwiches) Service was mediocre, at best, with staff more interested in their phones than working. I understand that this was supposed to have a young urban, hip feel, but it actually just felt cheap, worn, and ugly Many shortcuts were taken at the expense of the guest. This hotel seems to cater to a demographic of younger people, who are gay, fringe and/or black. Being none of those, I was pretty much invisible to the staff. Bad service, and poor accommodations should cause Marriott to rethink this theme. Only the location saves it.
