We didn’t have breakfast. Our room was very dirty. There was trash in the desk trash can. The coffee never got replenished on our stay and the dirty glasses that we used sat there the entire stay. We understood that there would be a robe and slippers in the room but we didn’t have either. The bathroom was scary….. both the shower head and water spout were pulled out of the wall. The toilet ran all night……. We reported it but nothing changed. Our tv was not working when we got there, but a nice gentleman fixed it the next day. The carpet was never vacuumed and …. The towels in the bathroom had hairs on them.

Everything was excellent! I want to now be part of the Sonesta Family when visiting places, especially when returning to DC. Although the menu and guide tabs were not working on the tv remote control and the room smelled a little stale when I first entered, these are easy fixes that were outshined by the service, professionalism, and friendliness of staff. Does Royal Sonesta have Rewards program and opportunities to become a member? Also, the food, even though expensive, was DELICIOUS!!!
