We stayed here to be close to the Children’s Hospital that my son was having heart surgery in when I booked this I wasn’t aware of the parking garage being at such a distance from the hotel with no other choice of parking no matter what, nor was I aware of the excessive parking fees it’s cheaper to pay monthly for the parking fees, and it is nightly. Outside of that when I arrived with my son to check in, I was expecting to pay a certain amount, matching the amount shown on screen when I reserve this hotel online a week ago, the fees and other expenses added on almost over $100 if not more from what I was told this was very offputting. Now with that said, the man behind the counter was very respectful and could see my stress and was very accommodating to what I had going on which I truly appreciate, but that doesn’t make the rest of the issues better. This hotel doesn’t seem very handicap, friendly. Not only that when we got upstairs there was poop already on our toilet paper roll that had not yet been touched by us, gross.

This was a great option with the hotel on the college campus for convenience to visit with grandkids but also walking distance for great restaurants. Very clean, friendly and accommodating staff. Highly recommend it.

Great Hotel Experience, Highly Recommend!

Clean, friendly and great location! Walking distance to amazing food and drinks at Union Market. Probably the friendly part of the city we've been in. Covered garage parking was a bit of a surprise at a cost of $60 per night. But, the room price made it well worth it. Highly recommend!

Great Accommodations/Personnel

Robert at the reception desk was especially helpful as he ensured we understood everything associated with our stay (for example, Wi-Fi, parking, nearby eating), including escorting us to the pathway/gate access to the nearby eating location. He did all of that with the utmost professionalism and courtesy. Although everything rates five star, there were two irritants: no maid service during our stay and a non-working drink vending machine one of the nights (repaired by the next night). We highly recommend the Kellogg Conference Hotel at Gallaudet University.
