The breakfast was nice, the room was spacious. A great location, easy to walk places and close to the metro. The staff was nice but the front desk was definitely under staffed. Free water and we were given free hot chocolate

The room size is small but cozy. I got the standard room. What I noticed immediately upon entering my room was how dirty the shower was. The shower wall with big, very visible stains on it, as well as the glass door of the shower which had fingerprints, soap scums, etc on it. The other areas of the room were ok. The bed was comfortable. The toilet was old, with a wobbly handle, so flushing was a struggle. It actually clogged the 2nd day after my arrival. I didn't expect that being that the hotel looks kind of new. On a couple of occasions, I have gone downstairs to the lobby to use the restroom , which has very new toilets. The breakfast was so so. My biggest disappointment came from the juices at breakfast. They offered orange and apple juice, not from a machine but in a clear, large container. They put ice in the container, which made the juices tasteless since they are watered down. I strongly suggest for the Manager to put ice on the side to keep the taste of the apple or OJ. Not everyone want ice in their drinks, so give guests the option. The other thing that shocked me was the lobby of the hotel is on the 3rd floor, instead of street level. That confused me because I actually passed the hotel at first when I arrived, looking for the lobby. 😅 There was none! The front desk people were all polite, friendly and have good communication skills. The hotel's location is good, about 7 minutes WALK from L'enfant plaza metro station.

Staff was very friendly, breakfast was good. I wish there was a cheaper option for parking. The beds are terrible though. They are hard and uncomfortable. I woke up with pain in my hip. Not enough blankets provided either. It felt almost like the duvet was missing or something.
