The location was perfect. A neighborhood feel close to so many wonderful ethnic restaurants. At reception, Naz was sooo helpful! She assisted us in planning our time in DC - which was challenging because the government (and all the Smithsonian museums)!were closed. But- thanks to Naz- we had a great trip!

High expectations for this place, but the staff were very unwelcoming. My plan changed so I wanted to contact them for a potential refund, but after many attempts they never replied. I had no choice but tried to stick with my original plan. When I arrived the staff just stared at me struggling with my big luggages without offering any help. The room was extremely small and not worth the money at all. Will not come back

The staff was very patient and polite trying to help me resolve issues that arose. The property is clean and the room was good. I was frustrated however that the water needed to run about 15 mins before getting warm, never really hot. Also the room air quality was not to my standards. However I appreciate that no matter what the concern was, any staff member I spoke to was very kind.

Had a great stay at HighRoad. Great location in the heart of Adams Morgan, and room was lovely and clean. Only thing to bear in mind is there's no lift, which is unideal - that being said, the person at the desk did offer to help with my suitcase if needed.
