The host (Paul) was very welcoming and easy to communicate with, and showed the kind of flexibility you would hope for from a small establishment like this when it came to check-in/check-out times. The cooked breakfast was very good (great sausage and plenty of toast!). Overall, a great experience in a comfortable, old school B&B- and fantastic value for money!

Arrived at 10am and proprietor was happy for me to drop the car off and attend an event. Property extremely clean and tidy, room warm with good tea and coffee facilities. Fantastic value for money. I will be using this hotel again.

Good location Nice host Great breakfast. Beans toast bacon sausage eggs served 😀 Room very basic which is fine for the price. Sadly smelt of cigarettes smoke thus the 1star reduction !

I enjoyed a cereal and coffee followed up by a freshly cooked full English breakfast and it was very tasty. The room was very tidy and the amenities were good as well, my only issue was the bed wasn't the biggest and it was very firm, but owing to my acute spinal stenosis made it very difficult to get comfortable. But that's not their problem that's my health conditions fault. There was parking on site, which I originally used but then had to move out onto the main road as people were blocked in. But again not a problem as I was right outside the property anyway.

Great one night stay, the rooms are a little dated and could do with an upholstered easy chair . But apart from that there’s everything you need. The staff were lovely and allowed me to check in early and the breakfast which was cooked to order was excellent. Close to shops and decent pubs where you can get dinner. Overall a great little guest house that provides value for money.

Wonderful host Paul who is so helpful and accommodating. Great location for local shops and restaurants. Great rooms with traditional solid walls so no noise. Excellent price and full English breakfast included. Will definitely stay again.
