Had reservation for first floor room due to husbands use of cane for his disability. Was informed by on site staff when I called for confirmation " everyone wants first floor level rooms so there is an upcharge to guarantee said room". I told him I believed this to be not only illegal but unethical as well and canceled my reservation.

The room was ok. It was clean, except for the tub looked like it had a ring around it it could have been a stain. The wood furniture was worn. I did find the beds very comfortable. I'm not use to staying in places where the bedroom door opens to the outside, and I didn't like either having people look in my room when passing by, or keeping the blackout curtains pulled during the day. I always check for bedbugs, and was happy to see they had mattress encasements. We didn't notice any bugs either. The walls are thin and our neighbors shower seemed amplified early the next morning. Considering thee price was very inexpensive, I would say our stay was adequate.
