La propreté des chambres laissait à désirer. Avons demandé de changer de chambre car avons trouvé une bestiole qui ressemblait étrangement à une coquerwlle. L’autre chambre n’avait pas de frigidaire, les murs étaient sals et le plafond était brisé à certains endroits. Pas cher mais hygiène déficiente.

The staff was friendly, but the bed wasn’t the most comfortable, and the ice machine was not working when I arrived. Also, there were vending machines, but they were COMPLETELY empty of products, not just no products I was interested in.

Check in fine. Greeted in room by a roach on the bed and two in the bathroom. Asked and was moved to another room. Roaches in the room again. Stomped the ones I saw and tried to sleep. It was after midnight at this point and too late to try a different hotel because I had nine more hours of driving the next day. Never again for the Motel 6 in Walterboro, SC.

I stayed here based on good reviews, but I wouldn’t recommend this location in winter. The room was clean and staff were friendly, but the heater ran intermittently and the bedding was very thin, so the room stayed cold. There weren’t any blankets. The bed was also extremely firm and uncomfortable. I also had a neighbor with a dog that barked a lot. I was awoken at 4:30 AM to nonstop barking. This was not a restful stay.

Was on a 22 hour drive and needed a place to stop just to sleep for the night along the way! Super happy with this find! Affordable, right off the highway, still quiet and felt safe! Easy check in and out, friendly service!

I thought it was bad that the pillowcase had hair all over it inside and out. But when I pulled the sheets back and it looked like they’ve been slept in a not changed that made it even worse. When I pulled the other side of the covers back and saw Feces stains on the sheets, we packed up and left. The manager said they would refund our money, but now they refuse to do that.

Clean room, easy check-in, very comfortable & dog-friendly with no additional charge. The only problem was the walls and ceiling are paper thin. The motel was nowhere near capacity yet guests was placed above us and at 2am were pounding on their floor until 3 am.. Next time, i will request a room with noone above us.
