It was perfect for our getaway/ family wedding in La Veta. Had games for the kids to play, just be careful with some cactus when playing frisbee. We will rent again in the future when visiting family near the area.

This was a perfect last minute booking when the weather required us to alter our camping plans. The house was very clean, well appointed and super comfortable. It is in a great location to access Lathrop and nearby trails and communities. It had everything we needed and worked out great, it was a gem!

The best. Rooms are huge, balcony is amazing, stars are awesome at night, area is safe, home and backyard is immaculate. Truly a gem right here. If you get the chance to rent this place I’d say absolutely do it.

We had a wonderful stay here. The back deck area was nice and the view from the balcony upstairs was amazing. The layout might be trouble for some since the only bathroom is upstairs. The beds were very comfortable. Our dog loved the fenced in yard, however, be aware there are random cactus plants. We had some issues with the projector TVs and the host was not especially helpful in that regard, but we were able to resolve it ourselves. Also be aware that the kitchen is not well stocked with things like tin foil, ziplocks, napkins, and paper towels etc. Sufficient cookware and dinnerware. Everything else was great though. All in all it was a great stay.
