This sunny property has been renovated beautifully: open plan living/kitchen, timber floors throughout, modern bathroom, reverse cycle air-conditioner and a great outdoor entertaining deck. Direct access to the lake will provide you with the perfect location to fish, stand up paddle, kayak or just enjoy the relaxing aspect. Located in leafy Fairhaven you are away from hustle and bustle but only 5 minutes drive to the heart of Bermagui.

Enjoy a peaceful holiday overlooking Wallaga Lake - with your furry friend if you wish.

Linen - All Linen is provided

Pets are welcome outside only. The property is fully fenced to 1.5m high, although the gate has a gap of approx 15cm at bottom. Limit of One pet unless by prior written arrangement.
Please Note - The holiday occupancy may be cancelled immediately without refund, if there are noise complaints. Guests will be charged for any damage and extra cleaning caused by pet - eg where hair/waste has not been removed from the property. There is a possibility of the presence of wildlife during your stay, due to its location.

The host Margaret was so helpful and friendly. Waking to the kangaroos in the front yard was an absolute treat. The lake was a glorious place to sit and relax ,with a lovely big monitor lizard that was in the tree nearby. It's a gorgeous place to unwind.

Nice hideaway

8 on the Lake is a simple but pleasant holiday unit. It is located adjacent to Lake Walaga but not easy to launch a kayak or necessarily to take a dip as the edge of the lake is not inviting. It was located at the end of a dead end road so it was very quiet and the neighbours seemed very friendly. Recommended for a quiet get away.

Lovely place

The property was great, peaceful and clean. The only drawback was the deposit and the notes all over the property (i.e., take the bins out or you will be charged, $50 extra, If you contact the real estate there is a $50 call out fee...ect). Also it should be emphasised on the website that you needed to provide ALL linens. So it would not be worth a 1-2 night stay. Other than the constant threat of $50 fee it was a lovely place to stay, great neighbours, beautiful location and a soothing atmosphere. Enjoy!

Perfect little getaway cottage

We found the property to lovely little cottage, great views, location close to everything we needed and wanted. Quite and important for us pets allowed with a fully fenced secure yard.
