This was our first time staying in Wallace and we scored! Though the rooms are quite compact, they are complete with features, thoughtful amenities, and in our room, the best rainshower head I've ever experienced. Love the key pad on the room door, and our late check-in was seamless. Kudos.

Our room was so cozy and CLEAN! Newly remodeled and in every corner I looked it was spotless. The bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed for charging things, a fridge, microwave and keurig. Staff was wonderful when we checked in. We stopped at the bar at night and the bar tender was so friendly and funny. We stayed there 3 years ago when they were working on things and it continues to improve. The rooms were pretty warm even with the heat off, but we were able to open windows (it's an old building and it's better than freezing). It rained while we were in Wallace, but it made the stay even more enjoyable. Coming back to a nice comfy room was the best

Loved the historic nature of the place - wood floors, windows that open, a real old-fashioned metal key!! Had a nice time at the bar, yakking with the bartender over a beer. Excellent breakfast in the on-site restaurant.

Popped into Wallace to spend the night before biking the Hiawatha trail and found the newly remodeled Brooks. Classy decor and a comfortable king bed made our stay great.

We loved this historic landmark hotel. The staff had great bike storage for us, and provided a place to clean the bicycles after the Hiawatha ride. Bike storage was indoors and very secure. Our second floor rooms had a spacious feel with dining room, kitchen, and 2 separate open bedrooms. Our rooms overlooked the Sierra Silver Mine Tours and shop which was fun.

I loved this hotel! It was. The rooms remind me of European hotels and were smaller than most US hotels but were complete with microwave and fridge. Bath was tiny but show head was POWERFUL and gave me a unique experience. I liked it a lot

Apparently they are in the process of remodeling. We got a very small unregistered room. No lamps, only one chair, stained rug, bed was fine. Just disappointing to see the lovely pictures and to get a drab room. Sink didn’t drain without pulling the plug. No towel racks, just the clothes rack, of course no breakfast. Was our least attractive hotel and the most expensive on our trip. Neat little town with very little competition for hotels.

What a gem in a step back in time! We loved our night in Wallace and the Brooks Hotel was perfect. Excellent location, clean, all needed amenities. Go do the mining tour via trolley. Very fun!

Historic Hotel
