Stayed here for an anniversary trip. Spent 8 nights in an ocean front cabin C. It was a 2bed 2 bath house with a large living room and a decent kitchen. Three was a front d ck and a rear deck. The rear deck had two Rick bg chairs and two Adirondack chairs. Below the rear deck was a cement slab with two lounge chairw, table w4 chairs, and a gas bbq. We were about 40yards from the beach. From the back patio, we could not see our neighbors. We had a feral cat that greeted us every morning and evening. Would not let you pet but hung out for food scraps.
Check in was real easy and they give you real keys. The clerk was friendly and helpful. The property is real quiet and spread out. The restaurant attached was pretty good and had a cool self serve beer selection.
Keep in mind these Cottages are a part of the areas history and are not modern except for the furniture and AC. We did find some cobwebs with spiders in the bathroom. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen came with everything needed but food items such as salt and pepper. They provide coffee which I didn't care for. Behr you go shopping, check the kitchen for coffee filters if you purchase coffee. We added the coffee filters we purchased to the drawer full of filters!!
Just as the description says, they are next to a non swimming beach. The water appears to be pretty rough with rip currents. The black sands beach was nice to watch the sunsets which you'll have a good view of. Horses frequent the beach.
