The property appeared fine at first glance but once I'd spent a little time there it became clear it was not properly clean. The sofa had something crusted to it. The wall above the bed had clearly visible dust balls sticking to it across the whole length (difficult to see in the photos, but obvious in person). The bedding had a funny smell in some places but not others. The floor was gritty so my feet were soon unclean again after a shower. All of this was particularly disappointing as I had messaged in advance and asked the host to pay particular attention to cleaning because I have an allergy to dogs and it is a dog-friendly property. Unfortunately, because I arrived very late at night and was intensely busy whilst there I did not have time to raise these issues during my stay. I would not stay here again. Whilst there were no issues with the facilities, cleanliness is such a basic requirement I would not compromise on it.
