This stunning property offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the beauty and tranquility of one of Cornwall's most picturesque villages. With four large bedrooms, this home is perfect for families or groups of up to 8 guests.



Sunny Nook offers a spacious living room and dining room with a charming wood-burning stove to create a warm and inviting atmosphere on cooler evenings. There's an additional living area with a 65" Smart TV with Sky package and Wi-Fi. Find a selection of books and games for families. Whether you're snuggled up by the fire with a good book, or having a friendly game of Monopoly, there's something for everyone to enjoy.



The outdoor area is ideal for entertaining, with doors opening onto a spacious patio and garden. Fire up the charcoal grill to enjoy delicious meals with family and friends, or light up the Ooni pizza oven for outdoor dining while soaking up the Cornish sunshine.



All four of the bedrooms are located on the ground level, ensuring easy access for all guests. Bedroom one is a super-king-size (zip/link, can be twin on request), with an en-suite shower room including walk-in shower, sink and toilet. Bedroom two is a king-size with an en-suite walk-in shower, sink and toilet. Plus two additional twin rooms which share a family bathroom with bathtub, walk-in shower, sink and toilet. There is an additional toilet next to the kitchen. The showers have been newly refurbished for Easter 2024.

The property has an EV charger, and private driveway which can accommodate up to 4/5 vehicles. Guests will need to download the Pod Point app to use the EV Charger on a pay-as-you-go basis. Unfortunately we are unable to accept pets at this home.

We would happily recommend Sunny nook as a property. It's position is just fine for exploring this area of Cornwall, quiet but close to any needed facilities. The property is most comfortable and spacious, with many touches that made it feel "home" rather than just a holiday rental. The owner can be complimented for this. Happy too with the service from Finest Retreats who proved very responsive to our requests.

What an amazing place to stay. Rock is a lovely location to visit

This property is outstanding. Beautiful house and absolutely everything you need is provided and more. 4 toilets, 3 bathrooms, fluffy big towels, loads of storage space, so much stuff for the kids to do, loads of space, kitchen well stocked. There’s so much light in this property, beautiful garden, beautiful frontage. There was 8 of us and everyone loved it. One of the best places I have ever stayed in.

the house is in a great position on the main road to access the beach and village, and also the footpaths to walk to Polzeath. All clean,tidy and well stocked (toilet roll, coffee pods, teaboags, teatowels, towels)- home away from home!

It was a perfect home for our family to get together for New Year

This is certainly a most beautiful property with wonderful gardens It had everything we could need as a family It was perfect having two living areas. The boys could enjoy the darts on the football, girls chilled out in the lounge dining room with its beautiful log burner. The smell of the wood was amazing. We all loved it and would certainly go back to Sunnynook. There was nothing to dislike about this property

This was certainly the most beautiful property with wonderful gardens It’s location is perfect just a five minute walk away from the local shops and a five minute drive down to the sea Had everything we could need as a family it was perfect having two living areas. The boys could enjoy the football and the darts and the girls could chill out in the lounge dining area with its beautiful log burner. The smell of the wood was amazing. We all loved it and would certainly go back to Sunnynook . We loved everything about Sunnynook. There was nothing not to like here.

Wonderful home from home

This property is superb for a large family, with a lovely garden and we loved the fact that were 2 living rooms as it meant we could dedicate the end room as the children's playroom with their favourite films on the tv, while using the other living/dining room for more adult pursuits. The bedrooms are all of a good size, and are comfortable with nice bedding. Bath and shower rooms were all fine - showers not as powerful as we're used to, but they were ok - I would have liked more shelves in the bathrooms, especially in the family bathroom as there was no shelf to keep the baby shampoo/wash on to keep it out of my toddlers reach. We didn't realise until after booking that there was an upstairs to the property with stairs leading up from the entrance hall - The upstairs rooms are not available for guests, and were all locked, but there was no stair gate so my toddlers kept going up the stairs. This was obviously a problem for us as my 2yr old isn't used to stairs (we live in a bungalow at home) so we couldn't leave him alone on the stairs and this made it a little less relaxing than it could have been if a stair gate was in place. Other than that, we thought the house was perfect for our needs, and we would have loved to return for the May half term week next year but unfortunately it's already been booked by someone else :(
