The Story Behind The Beehive
The Beehive was named in honor of our grandmother, Bee.
She was the kind of person who was always there when you needed her. No matter what life brought your way, you knew you could count on her.
When we named The Beehive, we wanted to honor her and carry a little piece of that love forward.
Our hope is that everyone who stays here feels welcome, comfortable, and cared for. A place where you can slow down, enjoy the simple things, and feel right at home.
The Beehive may carry her name, but we hope it carries a little of her heart, too.
The Space
The Beehive is a newly renovated, approximately 1,000-square-foot, two-bedroom farm apartment with a welcoming, open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area.
It’s a comfortable place to gather around the table, enjoy a home-cooked meal, or relax after a day of exploring. Whether you’re staying for a weekend or settling in for a longer visit, we want you to feel right at home.
Sleeping Arrangements:
* Primary Bedroom: Queen bed and twin bed
* Second Bedroom: Full-size bed and additional twin floor mattress
Kitchen & Living:
* Open kitchen, dining, and living space
* Multiple dining areas with seating for up to 16—because we believe there’s always room for one more at the table!
* Comfortable gathering space for families and friends
Bathroom & Laundry:
* Separate shower and laundry room with washer and dryer
* Private toilet and sink room, making it easier for families to get ready

Start your morning with coffee on the screened porch, spend the afternoon exploring the farm, and end your evening soaking in the hot tub under the stars.
The Beehive is located on Outsiders Farm, a working family farm where life moves a little slower. During your stay, you may see our goats, chickens, and pigs going about their daily routines.
Take a peaceful walk around the property, enjoy the open countryside, or venture down to the water.

A Few Things to Know
The Beehive is a private apartment connected to our detached garage. You’ll have your own living space and dedicated parking, while sharing the driveway with our family.
We welcome up to two pets! Because this is a working farm with animals, pets must remain leashed outdoors.
Guests are welcome to walk around the farm and observe the animals, but animal enclosures and gates must remain closed. We ask that you respect the animals and their spaces so everyone can enjoy a safe and peaceful visit.
As a working farm, you may hear roosters crowing, see animals roaming their designated areas, and experience the everyday sights and sounds of country living. It’s all part of the charm!
