This holiday home in Volkel is beautifully situated on the edge of the Peel, a region with varied nature reserves. Interesting cycling and hiking trails can be found right next to the holiday home. Volkel has a nice centre with a supermarket, restaurant, snack bar and cheese shop. The BillyBird Hemelrijk amusement park with many attractions and a beautiful recreational lake is just around the corner. For a day of shopping you can visit the towns of Uden, Gemert and Helmond. Take a lovely walk through the Voskuilenheuvel peeland park. Visit Nuenen, the former home of Vincent van Gogh and follow in the footsteps of this world-famous painter on a walk through the historic centre with the Vincentre museum, the picturesque Van Gogh church and his former residence. The cities of 's-Hertogenbosch and Eindhoven are recommended for a nice day trip.
