History of "Alter Bahnhof" in Oberdorla with a private playground

The Old Train Station in Oberdorla opened in 1911. The “Bimmelbahn der Vogtei” railway line ran between the old Hanseatic city of Mühlhausen and the town of Treffurt in the Werra Valley.

The line was shut down and dismantled in May 1969. Since then, the station building had been out of use. In 2002, it was purchased at auction from TLG by the young couple Nicole & Mike Ochsenfahrt. A challenging period of reconstruction began. The 8,000-square-meter property now features numerous amenities that make it an ideal destination for vacations or renting a vacation home. The complex includes a 600-square-meter playground, seating areas, a barbecue area, and much more......

Super Unterkunft für Familien

Wir waren leider nur drei Nächte dort aber diese waren super. Sauber, alles vorhanden. Handtücher, Bettzeug, Spielsachen, Hygieneprodukte und bd und und... Super freundliche Gastgeber und die Lage ist sehr gut. Nähe einiger Wandermöglichkeiten, Baumwipfelpfad und Burgen, Museen. Nur zu empfehlen. Wenn es geht direkt beim Anbieter buchen.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung und super Vermieter!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne und entspannte Zeit in der Ferienwohnung. Es war alles da, was man sich wünscht (bis auf ein Gefrierfach) und die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war unkompliziert und sehr gut! Das Highlight für die Kinder war natürlich der private Spielplatz. Sehr zu empfehlen, gerne wieder!
