Charming Champagne
We spent an extremely pleasant, quiet and relaxing week in August in a magnificent, expansive landscape: centrally located between great cities and historical sites (Troyes, Bar sur Aube/Seine), the lakes, countless champagne cellars and culinary delights. The house is larger inside than it appears from the outside, 3 floors. It was cool inside even at hot weather. Comfortable beds. Several pleasant picnic areas in the garden. We were wellcomed very friendly, and everything was explained in detail. The kitchen could perhaps be a little more well stocked if you cook for yourself. A very clear recommendation, we will be back!
P.S.: you need a car to your disposal to get supplies and to reach the sights! The roads in Champagne are long and steep, and challenging for bicycles! It's best to have two car drivers who can take turns at the champagne tastings.
