The interior, completely renovated with care and refinement, showcases fine materials: stone walls, exposed beams, elegant finishes, and new bedding for optimal rest. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by Thierry, an architect passionate about art and heritage, who will share the estate’s history as well as his ambitious restoration project. The cottage features an enclosed courtyard with a large covered terrace made of polished concrete—an ideal space for summer meals around the plancha or for relaxing. The outdoor areas are currently being finished. On the first floor: a spacious living room with a wood-burning stove, a cozy dining area, a TV, a fully equipped kitchen opening onto the terrace, a laundry room, and a half-bath. Upstairs: three spacious bedrooms, two of which have large double beds; one bedroom for two people (additional sleeping arrangements available upon request); one bathroom; and one shower room. For a hassle-free stay, utilities, bed linens (beds made upon arrival), bath and household linens, and the cleaning fee are included in the rental rates. Located near Tarare and easily accessible from the A89, this vacation rental is perfect for a nature getaway with family or friends. There are numerous hiking trails, outdoor sports activities, and walks to explore in the surrounding area.
