Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Guadalquivir. Man kann morgens auf einer kleinen Terrasse hoch über dem Fluss seinen Morgenkaffee genießen. Nachts erhellt der Mond das Wasser. Die Geräusche von der Staustufe, die direkt gegenüber liegt, hört man bald nicht mehr. Für uns war es das Paradies. Bedauerlich war nur, dass die Orangen, Birnen, Granatäpfel, Zitronen und Oliven noch nicht reif waren. Aber es gab morgens frische Eier von den dort lebenden Hühnern, deren Chef (Hahn) morgens nicht vor 11.00 krähte, sodass man immer ausschlafen konnte.
