Clean comfortable apartment with friendly interactions with all the staff, cleaning staff so helpful, what a wonderful environment that we hope to return to for a longer stay another year, the small towns nearby offered the true Portugese experience and not the hectic tourist push that is unfortunately happening in other areas of the Algarve

Amazing location with private access to the beach boardwalk, quiet and peaceful location and well equipped apartment. We loved the serenity while being close to the beach, and with a Pingo de Doce and Aldi grocery stores a quick drive. Also appreciated the honour library, we loved it, would definitely come back.

The resort is in a very quiet area. They could have a small shop for essentials. There was a pool bar but unfortunately it was closed. The cleaners were hit and miss not their fault, but meant we had no cleaning and the bin not emptied. There was no facility to empty the bin ourselves. The rooms were dated and could do with some sprucing up. No information on what was around. Handy for the beach.

Wir warenaußerhalb der Saison dort. Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen. Der Garten ist super schön. Der Weg zum Strand durch die Dünen hat uns gefallen. Am Strand waren noch keine Liegen und Schirme. Die Zimmer sind sauber. Allerdings sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die Badewanne sah so schrecklich aus, das ich erst einmal putzmittel besorgt habe. Allderdings waren es nur extreme Gebrauchsspuren. Was uns geärgert hat ist das die Webseite ein Restaurant verspricht und dieses und die Bar nicht geöffnet hatten. Wir würden trotzdem jederzeit wieder dort einchecken. Bitte beachtet das außerhalb der Saison in Manta Rota nicht viel geöffnet hat. Ihr seit auf ein Auto angewiesen.

Das Personal,speziell die beiden Damen vom Frühstücksservice,war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.Unser Zimmer,eine Suite,war groß und hatte eine kleine Terrasse mit Garten- bzw.Poolblick.Jetzt im Dezember war es dort allerdings sehr kalt,sodas wir die Heizfunktion der Klimaanlage gut gebrauchen konnten.Schnelles WLAN und ausreichend Parkplätze waren vorhanden. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig,qualitativ sehr gut und abwechslungsreich.

Positive points - Quiet get away from it all place. Bike hire on site which we used for 4 days to get about. Approx. 1 hour to cycle to Tavira (at a quick pace) and about 45 minutes to cycle to Monte Gordo. Detoured off to visit small villages on route back. Enjoyed the Tennis Court. This resort is not for folk that like shopping as we did not come across any shops with the exception of the 2 Supermarkets in Manta Rota. Glad we chose apartments and not hotel as the one meal we had at the hotel was not great. There is a nice restaurant overlooking the beach at Manta Rota. Negative points- Sun Loungers around the piscina/pool at the apartments were very dirty so bring some disinfectant wipes if you wish to use them. Also a big pagan stone idol on stairs of hotel which we were not happy with and when we went to do Zumba we were taken down to a room with another 2 pagan idol shrines causing us to leave promptly and the Zumba teacher to lose his payment. We did not tolerate pagan idolatory being promoted at the hotel.

Friendly and Relaxed

The reception is in the back of the building to the left. We were able to check in early and there was a minimum of paperwork. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They changed our room at our request. Our apartment was sunny and very clean. Quite comfortable really and fully equipped. The cleaning staff came often and were also friendly. WiFi was a available in the common areas, although we use our own hot spot for security reasons. The location is between Manta Rota and Altura, making it a short walk to either place. It is right on the beach and we were given a key to the gate to accessthe beach. Overall it was very nice and quiet. A great place to relax.

Skönt strandhotell med trevlig och hjälpsam person

Ett familjärt boende med mkt trevlig personal. Rent och välstädat i lägenheten varje dag. Beläget i ett mkt lugnt område och två minuters promenad till en underbar sandstrand. Kan dock inte förstå att man inte har bäddmadrasser och påslakan någonstans i Portugal! Bland annat för att hålla en hygien! Nu finns ju IKEA inom kort avstånd så man kunde förnya och komplettera porslin och bestick. Diskmaskinen kändes onödig eftersom porslin och bestick var ganska få! Kaffekokaren var utbytt mot vattenkokare vilket ändrade förutsättningarna för kaffedrickning något. Vi saknade WiFi på rummen men om man satte sig i lobbyn var wifi:n helt ok där!
