Staff on the desk were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful location and views. Room could do with updating as there were many stains on the carpet and charging 8euros to have a kettle in the room seems odd along with a charge for water. Welcoming and helpful staff, comfy beds, beautiful grounds and views and so much peace and quiet! We stayed in early April and the weather was beautiful but unpredictable (as usual in the Azores) and our room stayed a comfortable temperature the entire time without using the thermostat. The only change I'd make is more variety at breakfast and more opportunity to try the Azorean beef at dinner!

Fantastic beach side hotel. Wonderful beach for ocean swimming and a great pool with plenty of room to sit poolside. Fantastic breakfast, silent rooms for sleeping. Very large rooms as well.

The pool is not heated and even the kids had difficulty swimming at the end of June. Beach is nice to walk on. Did not go in the water. Jellyfish on the beach. The food is ok, not many options for kids and strong on fish (with lots of bones still in). Water is not included with dinner, so a minimum of 5 euros for a bottle. Hotel is a bit dated. Music in the hallways on speakers start at 7am. The grounds are nice and well maintained. The check in staff was nice and the kids enjoyed the flavored water at the desk. Parking was easy and free. Good location for activities nearby.

Couldn't locate the showers for the Turkish sauna so was unable to shower before. Also , one of the saunas had no humidity and the other was too hot! Otherwise, all else was superb including the delicious meals and the staff. We really enjoyed our visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
