Comfortable and well equipped apartment in a quiet and convenient spot in Burgau .Stephen was a communicative and helpful host prior to our trip . Furthermore Joao the property manager popped in to check that all was as it should be while we were there .Very comfy bed and plenty of hot water which is always a bonus .Check in was straightforward too.

Fantastic, spacious apartment. It was very clean on arrival and it was very simple to get in with the key box. The balcony was great for eating on a morning and night and it had a big parasol for shade.

Lovely apartment

We really enjoyed our stay with our two children age 8 and 11. The apartment had everything you could possibly need and the beds were really comfortable. I slept so well. The kids loved the TV area and the balcony was great. The location is ideal an easy 5 minute walk from shops, restaurants and the beach. We would definitely recommend this apartment.

We had a great break based at the apartment which was a fabulous base to explore the western end of the Algarve with its wild Atlantic beaches. The apartment itself was everything that you might need.

Stephen’s apartment was ideal. We appreciated the additional bathroom and the kitchen was well equipped. The balcony was easily accessed from the living room and bedroom and equipped with sufficient furniture for our use. Stephen was very easy to contact and very accommodating. We had a midstay clean and bedding change and the staff were very thorough and efficient.We love Burgau village and enjoyed the location of the apartment. Would recommend.

Great place to stay in Burgau!

The apartment is great - big, clean, good location and well decorated. It also has a lot of amenities like cooking utensils, air cond., tv, etc. It is walking distance from the beach and several restaurants, and it is easy to park the car outside. The terrace outside is also amazing. The only negative thing was the double bed mattress which needs to be changed - it is not very comfortable.

Excellent quiet location in bustling little village

Enjoyed are 6 nights in the apartment. Everything we needed was there and the check in process was easy. The sign to the complex needs rewriting as is a bit faded but otherwise it was easy to find and access the apartment. Nice to be able to borrow beach umbrellas and use the kitchen for light snacks. A bit confused by the picture of the pool on the brochure in the flat as Joao the manager said we could not access this facility. But the beach is 10 mins stroll away with some nice restaurants, supermarkets and bus stop near by. Lovely relaxing place to stay.

Magnificent apartment in a typical quaint village !

The apartment was even more beautiful and comfortable than we expected ! It is very well equipped with all that is needed and was extremely clean. An excellent and prompt communication with JoĂŁo who manages the apartment and provides attentive service, he even came by in person to check that everything was in order. We enjoyed Burgau, a small village with a lovely beach and calmer than other resorts, all the amenities are within walking distance. It was a memorable stay ! We highly recommend Stephen's apartment.

Family holiday in Burgau

We had a great week in Burgau with our children (7 & 11), the apartment was clean and very well equipped. The location on the edge of the village is perfect, and easy walk down to the beach and all the restaurants. Recommend going on the Algarve Dolphin Lovers dolphin trip from Burgau beach, it was amazing experience with so many dolphins swimming alongside the boat. The donut seller on the beach is also a top tip, I think we tried most flavours and they were all winners! For supermarkets we found that the Intermarche on the edge of Budens, a short drive away, had everything we needed. We’ve been coming to Burgau for many years and it’s always lovely.

Beautiful area, perfect for relaxing

The apartment was exactly as expected. Stephen had contacted us prior to our stay to warn us of a crack in the bath but with 2 showers, this wasn’t a problem. It served as a perfect base for us for the week. I would suggest the possible addition of a hair dryer, if I had to be picky about something but accept that a lot of people bring their own. We will most probably return and can already feel the sun on that balcony!

Lovely spacious apartment.

Everything was lovely about this apartment. We loved the sun kissed balcony which has a view of people climbing the mountain. The shower in the en-suite was great, which is always a bonus. All the rooms are spacious and the kitchen has everything you need. The slightest criticism is the bed frame which despite having a comfortable mattress is a bit noisy resulting in a restless nights sleep. The owner is very easy to communicate with and everything went without any issue. Burgau is perfect for us but be aware it has very steep streets. We would highly recommend this apartment.

It was a beautiful holiday in that area and together with all circumstances in and around the appartment. It was calm and clean inside and outside as well. The appartment had everything inside, what is needed to realx, enjoy and having a good time. Kitchen was clean and nothing was missed out. As well the wifi was very good to communicate. The experience with our host and the appartment manager was easy, friendly, helpful and immediate response all the time. Thank you! Short ways to everything you need around: Beach, Shop, Hiking, Restaurants, Parking. Burgau is well placed for many different day trips around the area like Sagres, Lagos and even further to all attractions, beaches and many different panoramic sites around. Wonderful flat in perfect location

We enjoyed our stay very much, the flat is very nice and well-equipped. It is situated in a very calm area, although the beach is very close (10 min walking maximum) - so just perfect. The pool is the nearby beach club isn´t well maintained, so we wouldn´t recommend going there (especially because they ask you to consume 25€ each to get in). We had a small challenge with the appartment (the fridge wasn´t cooling, although the freezer was) but Joao (who is maintaining the appartment) helped us out very fast by providing a small fridge. The owner of the apartment is very helpful, even though not located there, he is reacting extremely fast and always provided help. We can absolutely recommend spending your holidays there, we had a great time and we would book again.

Schöne, saubere und sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung mit allem, was man braucht. Perfekte Lage außerhalb des „Trubels“ von Burgau in einer gepflegten Anlage. Parkplätze vor der Tür an der Straße. Schnell zu Fuß im Ort und am Ortsstrand. Netter Kontakt zum Vermieter, auch der Verwalter vor Ort ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Perfekte Wohnung in Burgau

Die Wohnung ist schön gross und liegt absolut ruhig. Man kann nachts bei offenem Fenster schlafen, nur Zikaden und Vögel sind zu hören. Es fehlt an nichts, die Küche ist auch gut ausgestattet, alles wirkt neu- und hochwertig. Zum schönen Strand ist es nur ein kurzer Spaziergang, mit dem Auto kommt man schnell in umliegende Orte. Wir sind schon viel gereist, so eine tolle Wohnung hatten wir noch nie. Nach einer Woche wurde sogar alles gründlich zwischengereinigt. Einfach perfekt, ganz herzlichen Dank!

Wir waren bereits einige Male in Burgau und wurden auch in diesem Jahr nicht enttäuscht. Unsere Unterkunft hielt alles, was sie versprochen hat: Sauber, geräumig und gemütlich. Die Betreuung durch den Agenten war sehr gut. Wir durften sogar früher in die Unterkunft als eigentlich vorgesehen. Wir kommen wieder und können die Unterkunft und Burgau nur weiterempfehlen. Außerdem: Toller Strand und klares Wasser.
