This was a lovely place, in a great location near to the Dyrholaey lighthouse and nature reserve and within easy access to Vik. The staff were very helpful and everything was clean and in good order. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We ate dinner in the restaurant. As we were the only guests wishing to dine it was important that we reserved a table beforehand and gave them our menu choices. Food was excellent and very prompt.

Located c 6 miles from Vik, which was fine as car journey easy. Simple tasty breakfast with good selection. Spacious room, uniquely constructed using volcanic materials, to good effect. Parking available close to Hotel frontage (care needed to avoid nesting bird). Set in rural farming area, very quiet, suited us and good sleep.
