This is a lovely grand old hotel that has not been maintained. The air conditioning did not work properly solely due to lack of facilities maintenance. The staff could have been nicer or more professional. The bar is lovely but no spa facilities or other expected upgrades have been made.

This is one of the few hotels you will be looking forward to return to. Outstanding service, highly knowledgeable front desk staff and the calm atmosphere make this an oasis of relaxation in the middle of the city with the main music venues just next door - including the Musikverein and the Opera. Everything adds up to the old world glamour you would expect to find in Vienna. Perfect place if you are looking for a trouble free and memorable stay in Vienna.
