At check-in, we asked reception to provide slippers. We were told they were already in the room and, if not, we could simply call housekeeping to have them brought up. There were no slippers in the room. When we called at night, the night reception instead asked us to go downstairs to collect them ourselves. This completely contradicted what we were told at check-in and was an unnecessary hassle.
The following day, we placed the sign requesting the room to be cleaned. Instead of cleaning the room, we received a notice claiming that housekeeping could not enter because we had displayed the “Do Not Disturb” sign. This is simply untrue. We deliberately avoided using that side of the sign.
