The location is great because it's close to the Vienna State Opera. However, the hotel is quite old, and the elevator is very small—it can only fit about three people at a time. Also, you still have to walk a bit to reach the nearest tram stop. (4-5 minutes walking) On the plus side, the breakfast buffet was excellent, with a good variety of choices.

This is a very nice property in a great location. Our check-in was quick and very easy. We had one of the "larger" rooms by European standards; and it was very clean and comfortable with a small balcony view over the street opposite from the hotel's front entrance. The daily breakfast (included in the rate) was fantastic. Overall, this was a great property, and I would highly recommend it for anyone coming to Vienna. It's a little bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Room was very clean, good facilities and quiet. Breakfast was mediocre fruit salad wasn’t fresh, average considering the cost of staying there. Minor drawback Did find having to pay €4.50 Euros per night for a bottle of water steep as many hotels provide water daily free of charge.
