Lovely cheap alternative on Lofoten.

This hostel is in an old fishing house, so it's rustic and old. But it has real character and a beautiful outlook. Nice big deck along the front to sit and watch the aurora from and stars and the great outlook on to the harbour. I stayed in a dorm room, maybe 10 to a room, pretty standard dorm style I guess. 3 or so common areas, lots of cooking utensils and a lovely warm kitchen/dining with a stove burning. Great to have use of bikes and row boat, and saw plenty of guests supping too. On the bus route to/from Leknes but not a lot of buses in September. But at least one in the morning and again in the evening so can travel during the day. 1.5km from the Hurtigurten coastal ferry port. Staff were really lovely.

The room was quite small but the view made up everything else to be honest. It was a cosy to lay down in bed and being able to look outside and see the boats and little houses of the harbours The outside area is lovely to have dinner and meeting people. They have a sauna for a cost which I hadn’t used but it looks amazing and then you can jump in the water right away and have a cold plunge . They do have paddles for free which is great to go around and enjoy some quiet time and seeing more of the harbour. We used to bikes to get to a lake nearby which was very pleasant. The location is great as their is lot of hikes to do around as well and the big plus their is a free parking area. If you need to do groceries , a Joker is situated 2mins walk from the hostel . Very handy . Overall I loved the place for its atmosphere and the things to do around.

The place is super charming and clean. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The property is big and with different buildings so you always feel that you have some privacy. They also have cabins which are great if you bring your dog!

Loved it

Wonderful hostel. We stayed in an 8 person dorm. There were two kitchens, a common room, and a nice patio. There are also Paddleboards, bikes, and rowboats that are free to use. We will come back here!

Oui je voyais l’océan depuis le dortoir, mais ce n’était pas important car on pouvait voir l’océan de partout !!!! Accueil incroyable, simple et rassurant. Tout est beau dans cet Hostel.

Vackert och mysigt ställe.

Det låg fantastiskt vackert. Fanns en bastutunna vedeldad. Skönt att kunna basta och bada i havet ftån bryggan. Trvligt område och att dela kök med framsmän och Danskar. Nära till bussen. Mycket nöjd

Sjarmerende og idyllisk overnattingsted

Hit vil jeg tilbake! Supert sted. Backpacking-stil med mye sjarm. Vi fikk et lite rom og det var derfor ikke et alternativ å bruke noe av tiden vår der annet enn til å sove, men stedet hadde koselig felles stue og spiserom og flere grupper utendørs. Dette var derfor ikke noe problem.

After initial shock of seeing 😬the place during the night time and waking up in A really beautiful environment and landscape ☀️🤩. It was an ok Hostel to stay. Teens loved it, girl 6y hated it because it smelled bad (which was true, maybe A bit moldy smell) otherwise liked to play around. To us parents it would of been an amazing place to be in our twenties. 😅
