This apartment was an experience =) We did not actually stay at Little Versailles- the host contacted us 4-5 days before we were set to be there and said the property was double booked and could we go with another one of her properties that had the same amenities and was at the base of Versailles Palace. With no pictures or anything we hesitantly said yes...here is what we thought:
Pro's: very clean, up to date, convienent location
Con's: the apartment is in a "courtyard" that shares space with the dumpsters from the surrounding restaurants- you will have noise and odors should you open the windows, which we needed to do for some cool air. Also, restaurant staff take thier smoke breaks out there, so be prepared for ciggarette smoke to come into the apartment.
It is stated the apartement is on the 1st floor- upon entering the apartment there is a very narrow spiraled staircase you have to go (crawl) up.
The host will give you one roll of toilet paper. This is all. We were 3 women there for 8 days.
Had we been better prepared for some of the logistical issues, I think we would have managed our expectations better. Overall, a clean, nice property that we would not stay at again.
