The room had no hot water, so the host suggested we use the common bathroom, which also had no hot water. We spoke with other guests and they were having the same experience. The hot water heater area in our bathroom had tools laying out which made me think that they knew it was an issue and it was not corrected when we arrived. The room itself was great and the location is good.

Comfortable room and location overlooking river

Very good location and accessible to old town. Instructions for access clear when property and keypad identified from street level. Room was spacious and comfortable. Large bathroom. Aircon unit was important. Photo might help. Communications clear on day. Not so after the local tax paid. Room was 3rd floor stairs only walk. Could be an issue for some?

This place was not worth the price with the condition and extra mile you had to do to get here along with 3 flight of stairs when getting into the building. This place is kinda hard to find if taking public transportation and having to walk because it doesn’t get you all the way there unless of course you used a taxi. The room itself was in okay condition but was dirty. Upon arrival the bed was cover in bugs and dirt and the bed was extremely uncomfortable, there is also an awkward sun roof right in the middle of the bed which being light in the morning as you sleep and you don’t get good rest because of that and the bed it self being complete lopsided other problem was the a/c it did not functional worked well and stop randomly and would not turn back on nor would it stay on. The bathroom is right next to you which is greatly convenient but also loud with the other guest who stay. The communication was good upon arrival. The hallway which was nice had water to drink. This place would be a last resort if you needed to stay here: you don’t get any sleep and itch all night.

This property can only be described as…broken. Everything had something wrong with it - the door handle to the bathroom broke so my travel buddy and I had to have the door wide open at all times, plug sockets hanging out of the walls, toilet doesn’t flush properly etc etc. This just made the whole experience of the room pretty rubbish. We weren’t greeted by anyone which we didn’t really mind but with the state of the room I wasn’t surprised that we never saw the owner to be honest. It’s such a shame too because the room is in such a brilliant location. If you’re looking for somewhere just to sleep and don’t care about a good quality of room then this is fine but I wish I had listened to the previous reviews on this one and rethought my booking.

the “private” bathroom was down the hall with a problematic toilet. When it overflowed during the night the manager yelled at us like we had done something wrong. The manager could not be found most of the time (other guests were trying to leave their keys with me!). Nice and convenient!

I ended up having to spend the night in Verona last minute, and I’m glad I chose this place. Check in was quick and easy, staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the location is perfect. It’s right on the river and it’s just a short walk through town to the train and bus stations. Highly recommended!
