This vintage farmhouse in Verbena is perfect for your escape. Built by my grandfather when he was only 20 years old, This cozy home has the original wooden walls and all of the original doors inside! With 2 cozy bedrooms featuring a king and queen bed, guests can unwind in comfort. The bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer for added convenience. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and modern amenities like WiFi and a washing machine. Kitchen is freshly renovated and includes full service cooking ability, full sized fridge, microwave, toaster, and stove with oven! You're sure to make fantastic memories, or just enjoy a peaceful stay away from it all, with a stay at our place.
There's a private patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. A Smart television and a DVD player are provided for your entertainment, while complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected. The bathroom has a bathtub or shower and a hair dryer. This property is unique, as it has an old hunting lodge vibe. It is quite a distance from restaurants and groceries, so be sure to have your food with you when you arrive. The owners have set up several space heaters, and we used every one. After about an hour, the cottage warmed up to a comfortable temperature. The cottage is as described, and is well-stocked with towels and linens. Plus, the location was amazingly quiet. While it might not be for everyone, the cottage served us well as an overnight stay on our way to Florida.

The house is old but updated well. Window ac worked very well.its decorated very nicely, very clean and had coffe& tea and a few other items which was nice. The view from the porch is very nice. Quiet and so much better than staying at a hotel. Host very responsive to questions.

I was not sent a code to get into the house. Had to call the vrbo office and they got a hold of the hostess and we got the code.However when I got into the house the double bed had been slept in and there were towels on the washing machine.Called the office again and they looked into their emails and found out they’d heard from the the house cleaner. She sent a note saying she couldn’t make the cleaning!!Why weren’t we notified sooner?VRBO was very helpful and offered to send someone right over to clean. Too late! We’d already wasted an hour waiting to get in!VRBO refunded our money.Phyllis B & Julie R
