We are a party of 4 with 2 kids (1 & 7). We are tired of going around Ventura and they are kind enough to let us check in 2 hours early. We would definitely check in again if are in the Ventura area.

Room was good. Breakfast and breakfast staff was EXCELLENT!!! Patrick checked me in but he does not have the best customer service skills. Not friendly, gave no info regarding WiFi or manager reception. I happened to overhear another registra explain this to a customer the next day. He didn’t even give his name until I asked for it. Perhaps you should provide name tags for your staff.

Everything was great. Check in was smooth. Our room was huge and right next to the laundry room with a view of the ocean. Breakfast was good. Walking distance to the beach and downtown.

The room smelled like mold/waterlogged. Got to the room in the event and was leaving on the bed, 2 roaches ran across the headboard. I went to the front desk and showed them a picture of the roaches. We moved rooms and immediately noticed the quality of the room we first were in to the new room. I was not offered a discount or comps for the inconvenience. The breakfast was amazing and the hosts were friendly.

The room was very spacious for a family of 5. Only a few issues to note: the bedding from the pull out couch was dirty so we didn’t use it. The location of the hotel was nice because it was right off the 101 but also very loud due to that same reason. The free parking was a plus.

Everything was great up until about 1am. For some reason, the people above us thought it would be a good time to rearrange their room. We waited for about 20 minutes for it to stop and when it didn’t we called the front desk to let them know how loud it was. They said they’d send someone up to let them know about quiet hours. Another 20 minutes goes by and it sounded like a dog running back and forth across the floors. I called again and said it sounds like a dog (no dogs are allowed) and was told they went upstairs and didn’t hear anything. So a ghost?? Well, within 15 minutes it stopped after I called again. The staff was very nice, the hotel was clean, and the parking was easy. Just be aware of the thin walls and potential noisy nights with neighbors.
