This review is for a 4-person suite, which might differ from other rooms. The hotel offered a spacious room and was ideally located, very close to both the train station and the ferries/boats, which made it convenient for getting around. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was decent (7/10), offering a reasonable variety. However, there were a few issues. The first room we were given was quite noisy in the mornings, which was a bit disruptive. The mini bar was disappointing — it only contained two bottles of water (not free), and the fridge was too warm. In fact, the fridge in the first room was not only dirty but also had a bad smell, possibly due to high temperature inside. I showed the photo and video to the receptionist who was also shocked to see it in that condition. I had to clean it with alcohol myself for the night. They did move us to a different room on a higher floor which was quieter and had a better view and a cleaner fridge. Overall, the location and staff were very nice, but the mini bar and noise issues could definitely be improved.

They have several walk up rooms so make sure you ask in advance NOT to have one of these…..Unless you don’t care. If you have a pullout couch also tell them in advance to make it up since they do not have regular staff to help and they all pitch in alternating jobs to help. It is very close to train station and the cruise port for smaller ships as well as the ferry system so a good choice for our trip. The front desk was as helpful and friendly as possible with great restaurant suggestions and getting you to where you had to be. I would stay there again but would not stay in a walk up room.

VERY CLEAN and tidy, NICELY DESIGNED room & bath. QUIET. Beautiful common areas. The EXCEPTIONAL STAFF are very friendly, respectful and helpful. They make you feel welcome. RALPH made sure that we get what we want at breakfast, attentively refilling our drinks, plus gave us information on what to see, where to shop, and how to get around efficiently. We will come back and will HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel to our friends and family.

This is our second time at the Venice Times and we loved it as much as the 1st time. Room was clean, bed was comfy, staff was amazing, the buffet breakfast (with the cappuccino) was very good ! We enjoyed our time here and will surely come back again.

Much nicer then some reviews portrayed. Breakfast was plentiful, but costs extra. Location is what seems to be an alley, but is a typical street in Venice. It is an easy walking distance from the train station, but very quiet. I never heard any of the other guests, and the hotel was full. I highly recommend the Venice Times hotel.
