Location was great! Very cool old building with lots of character. We didn’t get to check out the restaurant on site. The staff was friendly. Hotel is close to the square and grand canal for easy transportation.

Beautiful view right on canal. Wonderful location. Fun staying in this Impressive old former palace (I believe). Parts have not been restored, but it’s easy to overlook that when you get to stay in this historic site.

The hotel is very antique. Lots of halls with stairs to get into the rooms. My kids had “bites/bumps” in some areas of their body. Itchiness all over. I think the cleaning staff does a great job, but the hotel is so antique and there is wood everywhere, that maybe that’s why we randomly saw little ants. The linens and towels and bathrooms looked cleaned. The staff was very friendly, but the hotel was not our taste. The main entrance is very hidden and dark. Thankfully its location was good and they have great restaurants near by! Once again, the staff was great!!

The Palazzetto is beautiful but sadly the Music Academy next door is under massive renovation. This does not detract from the stay as the noise isn’t awful and starts at a reasonable hour. Would stay here again as the views are just magnificent overlooking the grand canal from the living room balcony. It is a very old property so not all amenities are in working order.

The hotel is wonderful and overall we had a very good experience in Venice. However, during check-out, two reception staff members were quite rude, especially one woman who laughed at our difficulty understanding the communication. We were speaking in English, but their explanations were not very clear either. It was an uncomfortable situation that unfortunately affected our final impression of the service.
