Very clean, quiet, great location! Highly recomend this place!
The location is excellent! Close to a Vaporetto stop, restaurants and easy walking distance to most of the big sights. La Dogaressa Guesthouse fit our needs perfectly.
Very nice accommodation. Clean and great location. Owner was wonderful- very informative and always available. Only drawback was private bathroom was located across hall from room, but worked out ok.
This guest house is very centric and you can reach many tourist and historic areas from there. Piero gave us good advises for our 2 days trip at Venice and we had a lovely time.

Skeleton keys noisy in middle of night when going to bathroom, you can hear people talking in other rooms, lumpy beds... but clean and well kept. Great location for tours , gondolas , shopping and restaurants...

While we had a good stay, the property is more run down than the photos suggest. It is a great location, and the basics are provided for. The bathroom is in a separate room to the bedroom. Pierro was very helpful. Venice is an amazing place and we were glad to be able to visit. Overall a great time was had.

The hotel is on the third floor, no elevator, 51 steps up. Its a little noisy in the mornings and evening with loud closing doors and people talking. If you need more towels than they give you have to pay for them. The owner is nice. He gave us several tips on where to eat and shop.
The room was ok. However, it did say I would have a private bath, which I interpreted to Maine and en suite bath. That was not the case. I was given a key to my bathroom so that it was private, but it was across the hall. There are also six flights of stairs and the lighting is on the timer and if you take too long, you will find yourself in pitch black darkness.
The room was clean, but pretty basic. The bed did not have a frame, so it was very low and harder for an older person to get up and out of. The property is also up about 60 stairs with no elevator. Information at check in was very good. Location was also good. We had a shared bath with a modern, but very small shower.
Had difficulty finding and host did not respond to request for assistance.
Suggestion to host to provide directions from
the Vaporetto stop. Google does not WORK!

Check in was easy, but there is no receptionist, so communication may be difficult at times for arrival, but we had no issues. At check out our contact for the hotel was rude, when we were asking about the hotel policies for check-out. Overall the location was good, for overall places to eat and see. We arrived by train and were able to take a water taxi to the dock where the hotel was located and it was a 3 minute walk to the hotel.
Fine for a couple of nights - quiet, clean, decent location. Bedroom (air conditioned) was across the hall from bathroom and living room (not air conditioned), which was a little odd. It was really hot, so there wasn’t much use of the living room. Lots of stairs and a little tough to find and get in.
I stayed here on June 17th to 21st.
Hospitality: 5/5. Piero was very welcoming and gave me tips on where to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner which helped a lot! Rafaella was kind enough to wish me a happy birthday. Two very lovely people!
Location: 5/5. It is a 5 min walk from Rialto Bridge and the markets, 15 min walk from Doge’s Palace. Very convenient.
Cleanliness: 5/5. The room was very clean, big comfy bed with nice white sheets and 6 pillows! It had an A/C unit too which was great.
Overall I highly recommend this place! Thank you again! 5/5!!
Property is in a convenient area and was rather quiet at night which was great. The bathroom is shared between two rooms and did not appear to be cleaned at all during my 3 night stay. Managers did not offer any help with transportation or offer any information about surrounding areas.
Be aware, this facility has rooms with private bathrooms and rooms with shared bathrooms, which is poorly indicated in Expedia.
Staff provided good recommendations.
They send A LOT of emails and WhatsApp messages in the weeks ahead of the stay which was getting annoying but at the same time very available for information.
Only significant negative point to note was poor response when we advised the shared bathroom was dirty, instead of apologizing and cleaning it they blamed the other customers and did not take ownership.
Perfect location.
