Clean room, friendly and accommodating staffs. They communicated well and respond at the right time. Didn’t realized that after an elevator there would be stairs and few more steps around to get to the room instead of straight one ride on the elevator. Glass window in the bathroom is still see through. But other than that everything was good. Thank you.

In the heart of it all

Only stayed one night due to a canceled flight, but we had a great time. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Very small but it’s Venice so understandable. Water taxi from the airport drops you off about 75 steps from the front door.

Great front desk folks as they are open 24 hours and kept our luggage while we are away. They are very knowledge able about the surrounding restaurants, especially the vaporetto timings (ferry/boat) and they called and booked a table for us, as they are such a nice people. I can stay again just because of the front desk folks.

Great location - overlooking the water and ferry accessibility in San Marco area. We should have looked closer at hotel rating being a 3-star - not the best amenities available (eg restocking body wash/ shampoo was challenging). Hotel staff were friendly enough and accommodating.

The location is awesome!! Right along the grand canal and steps away from the vaporetto which was very convenient especially if you have luggages. The breakfast was really good with plenty of choices although it’s in a different building it’s not far from the hotel. Our room was on the ground floor facing the courtyard. There’s really not much of anything looking out but who cares if you can walk right out to the grand canal! Room is decent size, we had 2 check in size luggages and had enough room for it. It was weird that the room was next to a bathroom but we weren’t bothered by it.

I wasn’t happy with a/c and I stayed in lobby the morning we where going to check out while my family visited the area, my daughter brought me something to eat and I was asked to eat my food in the back room because they didn’t want customers seeing me eat in the lobby. Unwelcome Treatment and Poor Follow-Up Service

Our stay was unfortunately disappointing. While the staff seemed polite at first, they were ultimately unhelpful whenever we needed anything. We also experienced several inappropriate and sarcastic remarks that appeared to be made simply because we're American, which made us feel unwelcome. To make matters worse, we accidentally left a pair of slippers in the room. When we called, we were told they had been found. When I asked if the slippers could be mailed to us since we were already at the airport, they claimed the slippers came from another room but that wasn't true of we were still coming. Overall, this experience was far below expectations.

Beautiful view of the water from the room. Breakfast was around the corner, but close and with a variety of options. Hotel was conveniently located close to St. Mark's Square and the vaporetto system.
