Hotel is a bit far from water bus/taxi stations so hard to get to if you have luggage. Nice quiet location and both hotel and area have historic charm. Rooms were neat and tidy but has a certain pungent smell that we had to change our upgraded room to a smaller twin bed room. Has elevator making easy to go up to 3rd floor with bags. Door lock on our upgrade room was a bit tricky. Breakfast was adequate but not that great. Front desk folks were super, very accommodating and helpful particularly on advise on attending the New Year’s Eve celebration and for transport to Marco Polo Airport. Noticed that mostly old folks stay at the hotel given that it’s closed to the La Fenice Theater, Nice hotel and great staff but not that much value for the price you pay.

We loved our stay here. The room was lovely and well appointed. The location is perfect for visiting all parts of Venice. The staff polite, friendly and helpful. We will certainly stay here again on our next visit and will recommend the hotel to friends and family. Thank you for a great stay.

The reception staff were courteous and helpful. Room cleaning was fine but short on toiletries. I bought biscuits and special nougat which I left on table. It had been removed when I returned after a day out. I did not report it because I did not want to spoil the good nature of all staff. The location was excellent and I enjoyed my stay

Front desk staff were not very friendly or helpful, except for the 1 female staff member who was quite helpful. The hotel was fairly typical, but the rooms were a bit more run down. The location is what made this hotel!
