The room was absolutely stunning. Staff was helpful and very efficient! The hotel is right on the canal and is just a 4-5min walk from the train station. Due to the location of the hotel, very close to many restaurants, bars, cafe and shopping boutiques

We stayed at Hotel Canal Grande for 4 nights. The front desk staff was kind and accommodating. We arrived at 1 am in the morning and wanted to have a cocktail after a long day of travel. Even though the bar closed at 11 pm, the front desk clerk was kind enough to open the bar for us for as long as we wanted. We had a junior suite and found it to be spacious compared to many rooms of this category in Europe. Relied on the front desk staff for many needs including advice on navigation, meals, etc. The staff was gracious during every encounter. The hotel location is as close to the action as you can get without being in the noise and crowds. 5 minute walk to the main drag (Rio Terra Lista di Spagna). Highly recommend and will stay there again

The breakfast was exceptional. Our room was much smaller than expected but nice- bed was very comfortable. Front desk was accommodating and helpful. Getting from the airport to the hotel and then from the hotel to the cruise dock was complicated, stressful and expensive.

FANTASTIC STAY!

Fantastic stay and the staff was amazing! I had asked if thy knew if there was a way to get tickets to an opera that was sold out and they jumped right in to try and help me figure out what my options were and I ended up getting a ticket! They also recommended some great restaurants. The location was also fantastic.

One night layover

Don't expect any help getting to the hotel. Check in went well. We had more luggage than normal and they carried all our things to our room. The room was very nice. The bed was hard. The shower is very small. There is a small fridge in the room. It did a great job cooling beverages. The stairs are narrow in the annex. We asked for our luggage to be set out for our taxi the next morning at 6 am. The night person didn't know anything about it. When we got down to the office nothing was out. He was very unhelpful and a bit rude. I had to ask him 3 different times to get our luggage as our water taxi was waiting for us. The location is amazing. The views are spectacular. It was fun to sit outside and watch the activity on the water.

This was a great location away from the crowds and I loved the little courtyard. Staff was very attentive. Howver, there was no type of guide in the rooms. No one showed us how TV worked and no suggestions on exploring the area during our stay e.g. close attractions, restaurants or shopping!

Room was very nicely decorated. Bet was very comfortable. Plenty of water pressure and hit water fir shower/baths. AC was clearly working and very comfortable temp in room. The front desk staff were always friendly and went out of their way to help you with things to do. The water front deck was so nice for sipping capichino and boat watching. If your looking for a smaller quaint hotel that will bring you joy on your vacation...this is it.
